Russia has raised concerns about reports that Ukrainian refugee children are being separated from their families in European countries. This was stated by the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the United Nations, Vasily Nebenzya, during an informal gathering of the UN Security Council on the protection of Ukrainian children in the European Union. “Following that April informal Security Council meeting, we have received requests to separate children from their parents, who were often traveling with them in Europe. The number of cases we are aware of is in the dozens,” he said, noting that many refugees do not know where to seek help. (TASS)
