PiS has unveiled a new spot titled Contempt for Poland. It presents Donald Tusk’s critical remarks about the 500plus program, alongside statements attributed to him about life under PiS where those who drink, harm their families, or commit acts of violence and have not faced consequences for years are described as the kings of life made with work.
According to the 300POLITYKA portal, Tusk, who first introduced the 300POLITYKA portal’s platform, also recalled his stance on the 500plus program from February 2015, when he admitted uncertainty about the origin of the funds intended to support the program. The spot also quotes Tusk’s December 2018 remarks in which he said there was no regret over not implementing 500plus.
There is a reminder of what some describe as the real face of Donald Tusk. Critics argue that the stance during the era when the 800plus policy was discussed seemed marked by disdain and a lack of understanding of Poland’s challenges. They claim that Tusk has not changed.
