Public attention intensifies as discussions move toward the start of the campaign. Radosław Fogiel, a PiS member of parliament and head of the parliamentary foreign affairs committee, noted on RMF FM that the closer the campaign begins, the more visible President Kaczyński and PiS politicians become in public life.
PiS president at voter meetings
Jarosław Kaczyński announced his plan to resume tours across Poland. The schedule remains fluid, with a long weekend ahead and several calendar constraints to consider. Nevertheless, the sentiment is clear: as campaigning approaches, the president and PiS figures will be increasingly present in public forums.
Radoslaw Fogiel stressed that a gathering is planned for Saturday in the village of Łyse. The event will bring together Jarosław Kaczyński, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, and Agriculture Minister Robert Telus to discuss rural issues and local concerns.
Observers note that the president continues to use mobility aids during official appearances, following knee surgery. He has often chosen seating arrangements that minimize the need to move, a practical choice given his recovery. Fogiel also dismissed rumors about sepsis, labeling them unfounded.
Why do young people hate PiS?
Fogiel addressed a widely shared TikTok clip in which he asked young viewers why they dislike PiS. When asked if the inquiry produced useful replies, the PiS MP said the responses were varied. Some outcomes were dominated by a few notable personalities, which he described as a poor indicator of popular sentiment. He suggested that without meaningful, well-considered positions beyond celebrity responses, the exercise lacked substance.
The politician argued that the feedback highlights a broader challenge for Law and Justice. He characterized the current narrative as echoing opposition rhetoric and emphasized the need for a clearer, more persuasive message from PiS to connect with younger voters.
Fogiel concluded that there is work to be done to shape a more convincing narrative for the party and its platform.
