Questions without answers
The central issue raised by the politician was why Joński moved to end the interrogation precisely as critical questions began to be asked. The implication was that a pause or a halt in questioning allowed pressure claims to go unexamined, and that the witness might be shielded from addressing direct inquiries.
A sense of irregularity lingered. When tough questions emerged regarding whether Mr. Wypij faced external pressure or whether a family member might be placed in a difficult position, Joński’s intervention appeared to shield the witness from hard inquiries. Jabłoński stated that the issue would not be dropped, and that further questions would continue to probe the credibility of the testimony. The post reflected a favorable outcome for his bid to become city president, allegedly with an eye toward garnering support from the Civic Coalition. If there is a political stake in the coalition’s backing, the questions about his credibility could be seen as especially consequential for both the committee and Wypij’s political prospects.

Paweł Jabłoński also took to social media to critique the method used during Michał Wypij’s interrogation by the Post-Election Investigative Committee. He asserted that Wypij avoided answering the committee members’ key questions, aided, in his view, by the committee’s head, KO MP Dariusz Joński, who ended the session at a pivotal moment.
In Jabłoński’s words, the committee’s approach appeared increasingly like a farce. He noted that Wypij testified with emotion about supposed pressure from a family member who might be fired, a claim that ultimately did not materialize. The crucial follow-up question—who exactly would be affected and in what position—remained unanswered. The witness then reportedly avoided whether he sought to support the Civic Coalition in the Olsztyn presidential race.
