Head of the Ministry of National Education: Budget is secured and funds are available for investments

The minister participated in the opening ceremony of a new wing at the Catholic primary school named Blessed Fr. Jerzy Popiełuszko. The expansion marks a concrete step in enhancing local educational facilities.

The project includes a co-financed investment of 5 million PLN from the Investment in Education program. In addition to extra classroom space, the initiative features a modern library and a Multimedia Information Center designed to support teaching and student research.

170 million PLN for non-governmental educational initiatives

A total of 170 million PLN was allocated to education delivered by non-governmental organizations, religious groups, parishes, associations, and foundations. This reflects support for a diverse range of educational activities outside the state system.

The minister highlighted that substantial funds are being directed toward educational investments across the country. The focus remains on strengthening the overall learning environment and expanding capacity where needed.

In total, more than 13.7 billion PLN has been transferred to local governments to fund education projects. The ongoing plan emphasizes modernization, school construction and expansion, and the creation of conditions that ensure the best possible learning experience for children while supporting teachers in their everyday work. The emphasis is on securing a robust foundation for the country’s future.
