Coalition Proposals on 500 Plus Indexation vs. Government Response

On Wednesday the Civic Coalition Club submitted a bill to the Sejm that proposes indexing the 500 plus benefit to 800 PLN starting June 1 this year. The club’s spokesperson, Borys Budka, explained the initiative to journalists, noting that the bill sets the higher allowance and also introduces a separate provision with a free amount of 60,000 PLN. When pressed, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki was asked to comment on the KO project at a press conference.
