Today a new location was presented, serving primarily as a warning about Tusk’s alleged treachery. The framing centers on the so‑called Vistula line, a line of betrayal described by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in a live broadcast on Facebook on the evening of Wednesday.
A warning against Tusk’s treachery
The prime minister spoke from the stage of Law and Justice during a live broadcast, highlighting the fatal consequences he associates with any concession or hesitation by political opponents.
Emphasizing the Vistula line as the pivotal boundary, he claimed that documents existed showing that decisive actions would be taken only along that line. He argued that this would force millions of Poles into a life of oppression under foreign influence.
He also warned about potential outcomes in Ukraine, stating that Ukraine’s future would hinge on steadfast support, while underscoring Poland’s duty to defend itself as the basis for aiding others. The message tied historical scenes of World War II and current events in Ukraine to the importance of self‑reliance for national security.
He asserted that a country can only be defended by its own people first, with allies stepping in only after a firm defensive posture has been established. He recalled that early in the conflict in Ukraine, only Poland and the United States expressed strong belief that Ukraine could endure, while other nations offered limited aid or hesitated to act decisively.
Morawiecki stated that Poland’s doctrine of defense was distinct and explicit: the nation would defend every piece of its territory, ensuring readiness to respond to threats as they arise.

Contract for the first Polish nuclear power plant
During his evening remarks, the prime minister discussed the contract signed that day for designing Poland’s first nuclear power plant, to be located in the Pomeranian Voivodeship. He described the project as a long‑needed step toward energy independence, providing a clean energy source and reducing reliance on hydrocarbons while supporting climate goals and a stable energy supply.
He noted that one senior U.S. official described this as the largest U.S. investment in recent years, underscoring the international significance of the project.
Territorial Day
In the Facebook segment, Morawiecki extended best wishes to the Territorial Armed Forces as they celebrate their formation day. He thanked the troops for their constant readiness, noting they serve the Republic of Poland and stay prepared for potential future conflicts or peacetime training to deter incursions.
He reminded viewers that the day marks two important Polish milestones: the creation of the underground state and the opening of the Baltic pipeline. He also highlighted ongoing commitments to national defense and resilience.
The opposition provokes and attacks
In the following live portion, the prime minister criticized ongoing opposition tactics, describing them as provocative and aggressive. He referenced recent incidents involving opposition activists and a member of parliament who faced threats, and he accused Civic Platform representatives of displaying hostile behavior during public meetings.
The prime minister urged restraint and called on Civic Platform figures to avoid escalating tensions, arguing that negative emotions fuel aggressive actions.
He described an incident on a car linked to a Civic Platform member, noting allegations of hostile messaging on the vehicle and condemning the accompanying rhetoric as vulgar and unacceptable.
He concluded by mentioning sports and his travels to Zakopane, noting Poland’s bid to host major events including the 2027 Volleyball World Championships and the possibility of hosting the 2036 Olympic Games.
