The Supreme Court of Audit sent four reports to the Public Prosecution Service on suspicion of committing a crime against twelve government officials. This is the result of the investigation that the Court of Audit conducted at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs last year.
Today, NIK notes in a statement published on its website and social media that, following the inspection carried out last year at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, four reports on suspicion of committing a crime against twelve civil servants were drawn up and sent to the police. public prosecutor’s office. Last year’s inspection concerned the Minister of Foreign Affairs’ supervision of consular activities.
According to the Supreme Court’s statement, eleven people allegedly committed a prohibited act, which consisted of “exceeding the powers of public officials or failing to fulfill the duties of public officials, thereby harming the public interest.” In turn, one person was notified of causing significant material damage to the Ministry of Finance.
Four reports to the public prosecutor’s office
The first report concerned the authorization and implementation by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of a program called: Poland. Business port. As a result of the above, 95,545 visas were issued in the years 2020-2023

Two further reports related to the organization and implementation of a visit to the Polish Consulate in Mumbai in early 2023, with the aim of convincing the Consul to make positive visa decisions for foreigners claiming to be members of the film crew. The latest notification stated that “it was decided to rent real estate in Łódź and Kielce for the development of the Visa Decision Center (CDW) and the Consular Information Center (CIK).”
