The main improvement is the use of the Thunderbolt 5 port, which increases throughput to 80 Gbps, significantly exceeding the limitations of previous standards. This major improvement will unlock the full potential of the next generation of high-performance graphics cards, delivering significantly higher performance than their predecessors.
The new XG Mobile is a compact external accelerator weighing only 1 kg, equipped with an updated cooling system with evaporation chamber and dust filter. This improvement increases the cooling surface area by 54%, which helps reduce device temperatures under high loads. Importantly, the noise level is 3 dB lower than the previous model with RTX 4090.
To ensure stable operation, ASUS has equipped the device with a built-in 350 W power supply, which not only provides enough power for mobile video cards, but also allows you to charge connected laptops.
