PiS President Jarosław Kaczyński ruled that President Andrzej Duda told the truth about what happened in Poland in his parliamentary speech. He added that Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s parliamentary speech is another act of violation of the constitution.

The president gave a speech in the Sejm on Wednesday, in which he criticized, among other things: the migration strategy announced by the government, or criticized the government for “stigmatizing judges”. After the president, Prime Minister Donald Tusk took the floor.

Tusk has violated the constitution
After Tusk spoke, the PiS MPs left the plenary hall. Kaczyński told journalists – referring to Art. 140 of the Constitution – that the Prime Minister had no right to do so, calling it “a further act of violation of the Constitution”. Article 140 of the Constitution stipulates that the president may address a message to the Sejm, the Senate or the National Assembly, and that the message may not be the subject of debate.
