“In my opinion, Zbigniew Ziobro should not appear before the Pegasus Commission of Inquiry. He is someone who is recovering after a serious illness,” said Sebastian Kaleta, MP, on RMF FM. The Sovereign Poland politician emphasized that there are also legal obstacles that prevent the former Justice Minister from being questioned by the Pegasus Commission. The lawmaker also referred to the case of MP Marcin Romanowski, who is “still protected by immunity.”
At the end of September, the chair of the Pegasus Commission, Magdalena Sroka, announced that former Justice Minister Zbigniew Ziobro had been summoned for questioning on October 14. The expert is said to have agreed to the interrogation of the former Minister of Health, but he did not examine Zbigniew Ziobro.
In my opinion, Minister Ziobro should not and will not be expected to appear at this meeting of the Pegasus Commission of Inquiry. Minister Ziobro is undergoing a multifaceted rehabilitation after a very serious illness and major surgery. In this pseudo-advice leaked to Onet, I would like to point out that this advice does not take into account the fact that he has undergone multiple operations.
– said MP Sebastian Kaleta of Sovereign Poland. The former Deputy Minister of Justice drew attention to legal obstacles that stood in the way of Zbigniew Ziobro’s hearing by the Sroka Commission.
Minister Ziobro’s health is one thing. However, the first premise that makes his appeal ineffective is that The Constitutional Court ruled that the scope of the commission’s activities exceeds the possibilities set out in the constitution. Therefore, the commission is unconstitutional
– recalls MP Kaleta, for whom the prosecution of the former Minister of Justice is a substitute topic aimed at highlighting the mismanagement of the country.
Donald Tusk’s team wants to chase the rabbit at all costs
– said the MP of the PiS club.

Lifting Romanowski’s national immunity is ineffective
Kaleta also referred to MP Marcin Romanowski’s appeal to the prosecutor’s office, which again wants to file eleven charges against him. According to lawyer Bartosz Lewandowski, Romanowski will not appear at the prosecutor’s office today due to “a number of formal obstacles”. According to Kaleta, the prosecutor’s office led by Adam Bodnar committed many illegal actions against the former Deputy Minister of Justice.
He (Marcin Romanowski) still has immunity because these Bodnar supporters were so determined to stop him at all costs that they broke the law many times. In fact, they themselves admitted it because he was protected by the immunity of the Council of Europe. A crime of unlawful deprivation of liberty was committed against him
– said Sebastian Kaleta in the “Morning Talk” of RMF FM. He pointed out that the request for waiver of immunity from the Association of the Council of Europe was not signed by Dariusz Korneluk, posing as the national prosecutor.
I would like to point out that Dariusz Korneluk did not sign the application. Adam Bodnar probably feared embarrassment to the whole of Europe by illegally appointing the National Prosecutor together with Donald Tusk, because the Supreme Court ruled that there was no change in the position of the PK – and Mr Korneluk had previously signed all receipts for MP Romanowski
– declared the politician of sovereign Poland.

Will PiS merge with Sovereign Poland?
PiS’s proposal for further cooperation with the United Right is that we join PiS. This is a specific proposal and it will be the subject of our decision-making among the bodies of Sovereign Poland. The final decision whether we will join PiS will be known on Saturday. These conversations will take place this week. We are now in opposition and looking for the best way to return to power
– said MP Sebastian Kaleta, emphasizing that such a combination of PiS and Sovereign Poland increases the chances of returning to power.
In my opinion, the cooperation formula that existed before the 2023, 2019 and 2015 elections has been exhausted. We were in power and we, as the whole right, really need to think seriously about how we want to win the next elections. The PiS proposal is one of those proposals and visions that increase the chances of PiS and the United Right coming back to power. But whether this is the best view, we still have a few days to decide. I will first inform my colleagues from Sovereign Poland of my opinion. I don’t want to talk about it in the media now
– said the former Deputy Minister of Justice.
