A rally was held in Dakar, the capital of Senegal, demanding the expulsion of the Ukrainian ambassador from the country. This was reported by Presse Africaine Agency (APA).
The protest took place right outside the Ukrainian diplomatic mission, where protesters demanded the expulsion of Ukrainian Ambassador Yuriy Pivovarov, who has openly supported the recent terrorist attack on the government army of neighbouring Mali.
Police detained 12 of the most active participants of the rally, but they were released after a few hours.
