The Democratic National Convention is underway in Chicago, where Kamala Harris will be officially nominated as the party’s presidential candidate. The first day was full of empty, good oratorical displays and pumped-up enthusiasm, but it also showed the complete emptiness of the party platform. It was a spectacular show about nothing. Failures and embarrassments were not avoided, and President Joe Biden, who was ousted by the Democrats, experienced them too.

When commenting on the first day of the Democratic Convention, it is difficult to write about its political dimension. There is no such thing, and when it does appear, it is a farce. It is an impressive show, an oratorical event in which voices of admiration for Kamala Harris and Joe Biden are mixed with a multitude of accusations, often simple lies, insinuations and slanders against Donald Trump. A racist, a dictator who will turn the FBI into his private police force, and so on. The former president’s campaign team counted that his name was mentioned on stage 130 times more often than the three sentences that referred to the issues that Americans considered most important in this election. For example, Trump was mentioned 147 times, while inflation was mentioned three times, the issue of protecting the borders against illegal immigrants eight times and crime six times.
However, there were many surprises, which meant that there were numerous mishaps and embarrassments. Joe Biden, as usual, proved to be reliable. The Democrats, of course, were aware of the risk that the appearance of such a distinguished guest entails, so they do not even try to hide the fraud and manipulation. It was planned for a time when half of America will not see the president because he will go to sleep, that is, around midnight, East Coast time. Humiliating for the leader of a world power, insulting for Americans. But whatever, it does not matter.
The outgoing president did not disappoint and made major mistakes, hanging up several times and sometimes mumbling unfamiliar things.
This was his farewell speech, which was aptly noted by Republican consultant and propaganda specialist Scott Jennings, who was commenting for CNN.
During his career, Biden became known as one of the best funeral speakers. And now they brought him in and had him give a funeral speech in his honor
– Jennings said, recalling that Biden was essentially the victim of a coup and that his own party robbed him of the nomination even though he won the primaries.
This unspoken theme came up many times during the first day of the Convention. There is no denying that Kamala Harris, a puppet of the Democratic Party coup plotters, did indeed steal 14 million votes cast for the incumbent president in the primaries. You can’t just sell them or transfer them to someone else. Democrats are violating procedures, as well as the laws of some states, and you’re not going to do anything to them. Either way, the American system is falling apart before our eyes.
Biden is clearly aware that he has been the victim of a coup, that he has been robbed of his own voters and of the right to nominate him. Everyone knows that he did not resign out of a sudden sense of patriotism, but was forced into retirement. In his speech, he supported Harris, but reminded her of her participation in the implementation of his program, which many believe could alienate radical left voters from the vice president. It is mainly about unwavering support for Israel. The left-wing and frankly anti-Semitic wing of the Democrats demands an end to aid to Jerusalem and openly supports Hamas. Thousands of anti-Semitic leftists came to Chicago.
Outside the fence Democrats have erected around their convention site, tens of thousands of protesters are marching through the streets of Chicago, tearing Harris apart and comparing her to a murderous, genocidal maniac for being part of the Biden administration that is sending weapons to Israel.

Harris fears she will lose the support of radical leftists and anti-Semites, of whom there is no shortage in the Democratic electorate. Until now, Democratic candidates have been able to count on these votes. Harris has long sought to distance herself from pro-Israel American policies, which were expressed in, among other things, his refusal to chair a session of the joint houses of Congress when Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu spoke to senators and representatives of the House of Representatives. It was not about Harris’s views, because there is no evidence that she held them, but about the threat of losing the electorate. The vice president is merely a parrot, a puppet who repeats and does what is fashionable.
The Democrats have created their own Strong Razem – a radical left wing – and now they are their hostage. Many commentators believe that Biden is a reminder that she too has implemented policies a white, privileged old man is part of his revenge for the coup.
Democrats and the media also know that Harris has no agenda, and even if it is so bad that it must remain hidden. A common voice is that she must not reveal her political agenda, because that would be like opening Pandora’s box. In English, this phrase sounds even more explicit in this context: CNN commentator David Chalian spoke of opening a can of worms.

Whether through sloppiness and chaos, or through contempt for voters and delegates, the Democrats would not even prepare new program documents for the convention, but left the old ones lying around, as if Biden were still the nominee. These documents thus contain no less than twenty references to Biden’s second term.
The convention will last until Thursday and will conclude with a speech by the almost certain Democratic nominee today: Kamala Harris. But for three days, they will have to perform oratorical performances and moving scenes – with a war veteran, an orphan, a single mother, a disabled person, etc. – covering up the empty program of the party, but also the intellectual emptiness of its candidate. Even the media has no illusions or expectations about this, as CNN’s main commentator Jake Tapper shows. It is enough that Harris does not babble like Biden

A few blocks from downtown, where the convention is located, a mobile abortion workshop has been set up. At the abortion clinic, women can chemically terminate their pregnancies, and men can have their vas deferens cut and tied off, i.e., vasectomy. Gentlemen and ladies who decide to do so will even receive a coupon for a free hot dog from a local restaurant as a reward.
