The case of the shameful attack of Lieutenant Colonel. Piotr Szymański’s attack on journalists on Nowy Świat Street in Warsaw takes an unexpected turn. Despite the assurances of the Military Police that all those injured in this situation had been contacted, editor Piotr Dziemiańczuk denied this version of events. “No one called me, no one contacted me about this matter,” he said in an interview with wPolityce.pl.
The Military Police announced that they had taken action following an incident in one of the restaurants in Warsaw, in which Lieutenant Colonel Piotr Szymański participated. They also said that all three people who were injured by the Lieutenant Colonel’s behavior had been contacted. Szymański’s people (Telewizja wPolce editor Żaklina Skowrońska, editor Samuel Pereira and editor Piotr Dziemiańczuk) were informed of their right to file a verbal or written complaint.

The gendarmerie is misleading
When asked if he would take action against the military police, Piotr Dziemiańczuk said he was not sure yet. He also expressed his indignation and fear that the gendarmerie could mislead public opinion.

He added that he did not expect any further explanation from them as the service had deliberately lied on such a fundamental issue.
I even ask them not to call me anymore if they haven’t called me yet, because I see that there is no point in talking to them because they give false information in their messages.

The journalist also denied that the Military Police had informed him of his right to file an oral or written complaint.
