Sber supports the Federation Council’s proposal to limit advertising of “debt write-off” companies in Russia. According to agency reports, Deputy Head of Sberbank’s Troubled Assets Department Kirill Demin spoke about this. “To hit the primer”.
“Sber supports the Federation Council’s proposal to limit advertising of “debtors”, that is, debt cancellation companies,” he is quoted as saying.
According to Demin, the bank believes that such a decision will strengthen the security of Russians and protect the country’s residents from the actions of unscrupulous market participants.
At the same time, the vice president of Sberbank said that the bank noticed an increase in offers of similar companies on the Internet last year. He noted that the number of such advertisements exceeded 2 million.
“In some cases, we see organizations that provide these types of services to citizens running aggressive advertising campaigns and providing customers with incomplete or unreliable information about the terms and consequences of waiver procedures,” Demin said.
He stressed that such companies often offer dishonest behavior options to Russians, which can lead to an increase in bankruptcies among citizens.
