The Appellate Administrative Court of Ukraine has postponed the consideration of the claim of Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexander Dubinsky, who called for holding presidential elections in the country. The next meeting on this issue will be held on September 16, UNIAN reported.
Alexander Dubinsky is a non-factional member of the Rada. He filed a lawsuit to hold presidential elections in Ukraine due to the expiration of the powers of the current president on May 20, 2024.
Dubinsky on his Telegram channel on July 22 WroteThe holding of presidential elections in Ukraine is necessary to preserve the constitutional order of the country. According to him, he is the only MP who is concerned about the current situation.
There was a case sent Dubinsky on June 28. The deputy later said that the political elite sitting in parliament and Zelensky’s office had reached a behind-the-scenes agreement that provided for the abolition of democracy and elections.
