“It seems justified to take the case to court for those who accuse the government of torturing a priest, it is so absurd that I do not even want to comment on it,” Prime Minister Donald Tusk said during a press conference at the headquarters of the ABW delegation in Rzeszów, who commented on the shocking reports of the weekly magazine “Networks”.

During the press conference of Prime Minister Tusk and Minister Siemoniak in Rzeszów, one of the journalists asked several questions, and the first was about the diary of Fr. Michał Olszewski, where the priest describes how he was humiliated and even tortured during detentions.
What was the first question…?
– Donald Tusk asked first.
Priest, torture…
– he was asked.
It seems justified to bring to justice those who accuse the government of torturing the priest; it is so absurd that I do not even want to comment on it. The specific actions of the prison service towards the arrested priest are currently being investigated by the Attorney General at my request and it will be clarified in the smallest detail of this case whether he was actually treated in a way that is offensive to his dignity and inconsistent with the regulations.
– said the Prime Minister.
““Absurd accusations”
He then reiterated again that he “will not comment”, although he was very willing to comment – including on the emotional state of former MEP Beata Kempa.
However, there is absolutely no basis, including this letter and this information, for making such absurd accusations of torture. I am not going to comment on these covers, titles or crazy entries by former MEP Kempa, who has been writing very strange things with great emotion for a long time.
But we will not allow idiotic but also terrible sounding accusations to be made without any reason. As for the facts themselves, you will receive very accurate information from the people responsible for SW
– said Tusk.
It is clear that the Prime Minister is probably not fully aware of the priest’s letter and articles about it, as he sees no reason to talk about torture and is still threatening to prosecute him. And against whom exactly? Father Olszewski? Journalists? Lawyers?
