President Andrzej Duda responded to Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s submission! The head of state wrote on the X platform about “bad manipulation”. There is also a hashtag “#cykor2025”.
Donald Tusk writes about the president
During the election lull, Donald Tusk recalled the presidential veto on the amendment of the pharmaceutical law regarding the morning-after pill, as well as President Andrzej Duda’s decision to submit the amendment to the law on the National Oncology Network to the Constitutional Court . the method of follow-up.
Blocking the ‘morning after pill’ law may be due to a lack of common sense. An attempt to block the network of oncological hospitals – for lack of heart
– wrote the Prime Minister on the X platform.
His advisor Stanisław Żaryn defended the President of the Republic of Poland, calling the Prime Minister’s words a lie and an invention.

Andrzej Duda responds!
Later there was a response from the president himself.
Looking at this bad manipulation, I’m not surprised that @donaldtusk was afraid to compete with me in the 2020 presidential election. Will he be a tit too in 2025?
– wrote Andrzej Duda, adding the hashtag “#cykor2025” to his post.
Tusk’s submission referred to Friday’s information that President Duda had referred to the Constitutional Tribunal – under the so-called follow-up review – the law on the National Oncology Network, as well as the previous presidential veto on the law restoring access to the so-called “morning after pills” without a prescription.
On March 29, the president vetoed a change to the pharmaceutical law that would have allowed over-the-counter access to the morning-after pill for people over the age of 15. He justified the decision with “respect for constitutional rights and the standard of health protection for children.” At the same time, the President stated that he is open to the solutions provided by the law regarding adult women.
On Friday, the President’s Chancellery announced that Andrzej Duda directed – under the so-called follow-up control – to the Constitutional Court to amend the law on the National Oncology Network. The amendment extends the deadline for the implementation of the National Oncology Network to April 1, 2025. The amendment itself came into effect on March 31, after being signed by President Duda on March 18.
The National Oncology Network Law is another law that the President is sending to the Constitutional Court as a follow-up investigation, due to the absence of MPs Mariusz Kamiński and Maciej Wąsik in the Sejm.
