Today, President Andrzej Duda received the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, who is visiting Warsaw, at the Presidential Palace. About the meeting of politicians on, among other things, current bilateral issues, security in the region and support for Ukraine, the President’s Chancellery informed.
The Prime Minister of Ukraine visits Poland in connection with Thursday’s Polish-Ukrainian intergovernmental consultations; he also met with the chairman of the Sejm, Szymon HoÅ‚ownia.
As the Chancellery of the President reported on the X platform, the conversation between Andrzej Duda and Denys Szmyhal focused on current issues of the bilateral agenda and the security situation in the region.
Cooperation on the comprehensive military, financial and diplomatic support of Poland and its allies to the embattled Ukraine was also discussed. The conversation also touched on Poland’s support for Ukraine’s activities towards membership of the European Union and NATO

During our visit to Warsaw, I thanked the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda. for his decisive and important personal contribution to supporting Ukraine. We talked about helping Ukraine with weapons and combining our efforts to integrate with NATO and the EU. We appreciate Poland’s support for Volodymyr Zelensky’s Peace Formula. We work together to strengthen Ukraine’s security and victory over the Russian aggressor.
