Can several dozen requests be written to the court within a few hours to secure changes in the public media? No support? The WP.pl portal reveals further details of the case, which were first revealed by the wPolityce.pl portal. The scandal concerns highly politicized prosecutor Ewa Wrzosek, a close associate of Adam Bodnar.

The material shows that the requests submitted to the court in November by prosecutor Ewa Wrzosek, regarding changes in the public media, could in fact have been prepared by one of the renowned law firms in Warsaw, which are so-called defenders of the rule of law were employed. In February this year, the portal wPolityce.pl reported on the possible participation of Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz, the de facto ‘liquidator’ of the public media, in these proceedings.
The requests submitted to the court by prosecutor Ewa Wrzosek, aimed at blocking PiS activities related to public media, were filed outside the prosecutor’s office, WP noted. We found evidence that the documents may have been prepared at law firm Clifford Chance, which currently handles public media. The HR noted that the requests had been submitted outside the public prosecutor’s office. The dates when the attachments to one of the applications were prepared show that prosecutor Ewa Wrzosek started working on the documents before she even heard about the case. She cannot answer the question about dates and times. Prosecutor Wrzosek, according to her own statements, wrote the complicated multi-page letter in just a few hours. Experts believe this is impossible. The application was sent to a post office a few dozen meters from the headquarters of the international law firm Clifford Chance. The case is scandalous in many ways. The wPolityce.pl portal discovered that an investigation is underway at the National Public Prosecution Service, in the internal affairs department, into the possibility of Ewa Wrzosek exceeding her powers. Unfortunately, the prosecutor who discovered these irregularities was also demoted, and our information indicates that there is enormous pressure to sweep the entire scandal under the rug.
