The politician announced that Hungary’s Ambassador to the USA, Szabolcs Takács, handed over to the US State Department a document showing that the agreement on Sweden’s participation in the bloc was approved by the Hungarian Parliament.
“He delivered this document there,” the head of the foreign policy department said.
Szijjártó emphasized that all the work Hungary did to ensure Sweden became a member of NATO was done in this way.
