“This is another example, another manifestation of the total arrogance of this government towards society and the protesting farmers,” stressed Prof. Krzysztof Szczucki. The Law and Justice MP was asked about the words of the head of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration, who announced that farmers would not drive tractors into the center of Warsaw on March 6.
On Wednesday, March 6, there will be another farmers’ protest in the capital.
Will violence be used against farmers?
Marcin Kierwiński, head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration, announced in an interview with Radio Zet that tractors will not enter the center of Warsaw that day, as the movement of such vehicles is prohibited in the capital. “I am convinced that farmers realize that public acceptance of this protest depends on the form of this protest,” he said.

Krzysztof Szczucki commented on this statement.
This is yet another example, another manifestation of the total arrogance of this government towards the society and the protesting farmers. I still have images in my head of peasants trying to talk to the voivode in Bydgoszcz. They were gassed. Here Minister Kierwiński threatens the farmers that violence will be used, that they will not be admitted or that they will be forcibly expelled from the center of Warsaw.
– said the PiS MP.
We really need to talk to the farmers and negotiate a plan that is beneficial to the farmers
– he emphasized.
This is what Tusk should do
Szczucki also referred to the draft resolution submitted to the Sejm by Law and Justice.

Ban on the entry of agricultural products into Poland, grain subsidies. (…) We must also clearly protest against the set aside and against all agricultural Green Deal ideas that the European Union is trying to impose. These are the solutions that Donald Tusk should introduce, instead of the solution of police officers chasing away demonstrators – after all, protestors are not in their own interest, but in the interest of Polish food security
– noted Krzysztof Szczucki.
