“Only the media lie about the so-called ‘building a new camp’ The Third Way gave him power, but the Platform itself was unable to defeat Law and Justice. Donald Tusk lost to President Jarosław Kaczyński in a direct clash between the two formations,” Adam Andruszkiewicz, a Law and Justice MP, told the wPolityce.pl portal.
Two terms of President Andrzej Duda, two terms of the United Right government, in the last parliamentary elections – the victory of PiS as an independent committee, in terms of the number of votes, but insufficient to create a new government. After the change of power in Poland, people increasingly started talking about the need for changes in the PiS leadership. Journalists and publicists outdid each other with ‘sensational’ reports about the ‘struggle for power’ in the largest opposition party, and politicians of the ruling coalition announced (again) ‘the end of PiS’.
There have also been voices among politicians and experts involved in PiS that a generational change in the party should be considered. Jarosław Kaczyński himself claimed at the 2021 party congress that he would lead the party for the last time – handing over the reins in 2025.
However, the PiS president’s statement in an interview for the weekly magazine “Sieci” removes all doubts. The former Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister will run for leadership again in 2025.
I have strength, I have a political plan. I also do not want anyone to accuse me of being a deserter, for leaving the party and our entire community at such a difficult time, in a clash with such a brutal and unreliable opponent. I’ll stay, we’ll keep fighting
– said Jarosław Kaczyński in a conversation with editors Jacek and Michał Karnowski. The interview will be published in the latest issue of “Sieci” Weekly.

“The greatest successes in the history of the right wing in Poland”
We asked Adam Andruszkiewicz, PiS MP and former Foreign Minister at the Prime Minister’s Chancellery, for comment on this issue.
I think this statement is very natural. We all know that President Kaczyński is the architect of Law and Justice, the United Right. As leader, he achieved the greatest successes in the history of the right wing in Poland – a triple victory is truly a success that has never happened to the Polish right wing before.
– says our interlocutor.
It is logical that, since our leader still exudes the strength and energy to continue leading the right wing in Poland, we as Law and Justice are absolutely in favor of
– he adds.
Will this decision put an end to various media input and speculation about ‘leadership wars’ or the impending collapse of the United Right?
These are all media inventions and the pious wish of journalists who support Mr Tusk that Law and Justice would split and fight for power. In fact, there is no point of discussion here
– Andruszkiewicz points out.
All our leaders state very clearly that as long as President Jarosław Kaczyński has the strength to fulfill the role of leader of our formation, he will fulfill that role, and on this point the entire right is absolutely united.
– says the interlocutor of the wPolityce.pl portal.

“Tusk can put on a good face in a bad match”
Is this really “good news” for Prime Minister Donald Tusk, as he kindly said on the X platform?
Tusk is a man who always says one thing and thinks another. It is also similar in this case. He knows that his party actually lost to PiS in the last elections. Only the media lie about the so-called ‘building a new camp’ The Third Way gave him power, but the Platform itself was unable to defeat Law and Justice
– answers the PiS MP.
Donald Tusk lost to President Jarosław Kaczyński in a direct clash between the two formations. So today the Prime Minister can put on a good face for a bad game, but we all know what the situation is and we know that Donald Tusk is the first person who wants the right wing to disintegrate and be divided into many factions.
– summarizes Adam Andruszkiewicz.
