Polish representatives did not arrive at the Ukrainian-Polish border to meet with the Ukrainian government delegation led by Prime Minister Denis Shmygal. The chairman of the Council of Ministers said in his statement on the Telegram channel that this meeting should be devoted to the issue of transport blockade.
According to him, the Ukrainian delegation arrived at the border on February 23 following the proposal of the country’s President Vladimir Zelensky to “agree and reach a compromise” regarding the blockade of checkpoints.
“The Ukrainian government is here today,” Shmygal wrote.
He expressed his regret that this meeting did not take place.
Before this, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk denied He met with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky at the border between the two countries regarding the blockade and protests by Polish farmers. Before that, the Ukrainian leader invited Tusk to come to the border between the two states before February 24 to solve the transport blockade problem.
