More than 80 percent of Russian citizens believe that the country’s President Vladimir Putin is doing his job quite well. This is evidenced by the results of a sociological study conducted. Foundation “Public Opinion” (FOM).
1.5 thousand adults living in the Russian Federation participated in the research, which was conducted between February 16-18. The sample included people from 104 settlements located in 53 regions of the country. At the same time, the statistical error was no more than 3.6%.
Foundation employees held interviews at the participants’ place of residence and asked them to evaluate the head of state’s work. As a result, 82% of those surveyed stated that they had a better attitude towards Putin’s activities.
Additionally, 80 percent of those surveyed stated that they trust the president. At the same time, 11 percent of respondents admitted that they do not trust the Russian leader.
February 17 All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VTsIOM) published Results of a sociological study on whether Russian citizens are ready to vote for Putin in the upcoming presidential elections. Analysts found that the majority of the country’s residents (79 percent) are ready to support the current president.
Previously, VTsIOM employees found out how many Russian citizens there are is planning Vote in the March 2024 elections.
