Although Michał Kołodziejczak, while in opposition, always argued that he represented the interests of farmers, as State Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in Donald Tusk’s government he does not seem particularly effective in this role for the time being. . “Minister, when will you give a concrete answer: I have arranged this, this and that? And not just pour water?” – one of the demonstrators asked the deputy minister. The peasants brought an effigy of Kołodziejczak and threw it into the burning brazier. The State Secretary told the people whose interests he had to represent that he did not need the morning-after pill and that he ‘does not like arguments’.
Recent events show that farmers are probably not entirely satisfied with the activities of Deputy Minister Michał Kołodziejczak. When he tries to talk to protesters, he often encounters rather unpleasant experiences. And this is captured when, in a conversation with one of the farmers, he gets angry and “slanders” his superior, Minister Czesław Siekierski, and the farmers ask when he is finally going to share some details with them.
Does Kołodziejczak need the morning-after pill?
The politician met protesting farmers, who were apparently in a rather combative mood, as is clearly evident from the recording on the
Is the morning-after pill more important than our agriculture?
– asks one of the farmers, to which Kołodziejczak answers with disarming sincerity:
I don’t need the morning after pill
The demonstrators didn’t seem to mind it much.
There has been no debate on agriculture in parliament since the formation of the government. The “morning after” pill… Nonsense!
– exclaimed one of the farmers.
The Lord needs to tell them what is going on here so they know
– suggested another, a little calmer.
Perhaps there should be a parliamentary meeting on this subject?!
– asked another.
The Secretary of State at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development replied “generously”:
Today the Parliament on Agriculture and the debate on agriculture are here.
But you need some details!
– shouted another farmer.
And look who comes to you today to debate agriculture
– said Kołodziejczak.
WHO? WHO?
– asked the demonstrators, apparently not very convinced.
“Just pour water!”
Minister, I only have one question: when will you give a concrete answer: I have arranged this, this and that? And not just pouring water! Particularities!
one of the protesters asked Kołodziejczak in the next clip of the recording.
The boy says “two months is not enough”, soon you say “two years is not enough”
– noted the farmer.
And it’s still getting warm. Literally and figuratively.
Mr. Minister. Your people put you here. What you did for us today, you promised. Your words mean so much to us
– said one of the men, who brought with him an effigy apparently intended to represent Kołodziejczak and… wrapped in the flag of the European Union.
So much! Thanks for today! What else did you say this morning!
– said the protesting farmer, throwing the effigy and the flag into the burning brazier.
No, I keep saying the same thing. But I’m not going to argue
– the Deputy Minister of Agriculture tried to argue in a somewhat tearful tone.
You keep saying the same thing and you’re lying
– replied one of the farmers.
NO. I’m the last man to argue. The last
– replied Michał Kołodziejczak, walking away from the demonstrators.
Recent events regarding Michał Kołodziejczak and the activities of which the Deputy Minister is accused (see: the story of Mrs. Julita Olszewska) show that perhaps those politicians were right who warned during the election campaign (also in conversations with our portal) that the As leader of AgroUnia, he puts the interests of farmers above his own career. If this is indeed the case, Kołodziejczak is entering the new phase of his career with some rather painful lessons.
