During the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Justice and Human Rights, Minister of Justice Adam Bodnar answered questions from PiS politicians, including: about the attack on public media. “The law professor is wrong with his answers,” Anna Milczanowska, a PiS MP, assessed Bodnar’s answers.
During the committee meeting, Adam Bodnar received a series of questions from PiS politicians, including about the attack on public media.
You’re part of the worst possible story. We would like to hear from the minister what the response is to the illegal actions of Mr Sienkiewicz when it comes to public media, changes in the boards and supervisory boards of public media. Have you, as Minister of Justice, but also as Attorney General, taken action in this regard?
— this is an example question for Bodnar, asked by Zbigniew BoguckiPiS-MP.
Bodnar’s answers
I have the impression that whatever we propose, whatever we present, will still be criticized. I think the biggest point of contention is that you don’t notice that the changes made in the field of justice since 2016 have been questioned in various ways, and this is reflected in numerous decisions by the CJEU and the ECtHR.
– he defended himself Adam Bodnarwhich answers a series of questions from PiS MPs.
However, the Attorney General admitted that the resolution on public media was only declaratory in nature.
When I read the resolution, it is of course – I emphasize – declaratory in nature, but it defines what I recognize and what I, as Attorney General, consider obliged to implement, because it defines the public interest.
– he said.
Referring to numerous questions regarding public media, I maintain that the legal basis for implementing changes in public media is the Companies Code, in particular the procedure related to the liquidation of companies. (…) Perhaps in the future it will be necessary to give up the status of commercial law firms as companies that regulate public media

Milczanowska: “The Minister of Justice, a law professor – he is wrong in his answers”
Adam Bodnar’s answers on the X platform were reviewed by PiS MP Anna Milczanowska.
PiS MPs ask questions to the Minister of Justice, Mr Bodnar, about the unlawful dismissal and liquidation of the authorities of TVP SA PAP and Polskie Radio SA, and about the change in the regulations on the operation of ordinary courts, which calls serious doubts. Minister of Justice, law professor – errors in his answers
