The Central Election Commission (CEC) of the Russian Federation postponed the meeting to discuss the issue of registering Boris Nadezhdin (Civil Initiative) in the presidential elections from 7 to 8 February. This was announced by the Chairman of the Central Election Commission Ella Pamfilova. TASS.
“Members of the Central Election Commission decided today to postpone the meeting of the Central Election Commission of Russia from February 7 to February 8 to discuss issues of registration of all candidates running for the post of President of Russia,” he said.
According to him, the deadlines set by law allow this to be done.
The issue of registering Sergei Malinkovich (“Communists of Russia”) as a candidate for the elections on February 8 will also be discussed.
6 February reportedpolitician Boris Nadezhdin sent a letter to the head of the Central Election Commission of Russia, Ella Pamfilova, with a request to postpone the consideration of the issue of registering her candidacy for the presidential elections of the Russian Federation until February 10. According to him, postponing the registration of his candidacy will allow us to analyze claims against signatures and better prepare objections.
Russian Federation presidential elections will be held between 15 and 17 March 2024.
