“Adam Bodnar wants to discipline Prosecutor Ostrowski because he does not agree to break the law and rule the prosecutor’s office based on legal opinions, not laws,” Sebastian Kaleta, a member of parliament from Sovereign Poland, wrote on social media.
The Minister of Justice, Adam Bodnar, has appointed the disciplinary spokesperson of the Ministry of Justice from among the candidates appointed by National Prosecutor Jacek Bilewicz to handle the case of Deputy PG Michał Ostrowski. Bodnar’s tort
Sebastian Kaleta, a member of parliament from Sovereign Poland and former Deputy Minister of Justice, commented on social media about the scandalous actions of Justice Minister Adam Bodnar.
Adam Bodnar wants to discipline Prosecutor Ostrowski because he does not agree to break the law and rule the prosecutor’s office based on legal opinions, not laws. Adam Bodnar could not apply for the appointment of Jacek Bilewicz as PK for three reasons: 1. He did not effectively dismiss Dariusz Barski from the PK position (lack of request and consent from PAD) 2. There is no such institution in Polish law after PK 3. If he does not recognize Dariusz Barski’s status as the PK, Jacek Bilewicz, as appointed by Barski to the PK, could conditionally and hypothetically not be a candidate for the PK, if he only applies Bodnar’s logic. Prosecutor Ostrowski is responsible for establishing clear facts, not Bilewicz and Bodnar, who broke the law
— wrote Sebastian Kaleta on the X platform.
