At the briefing, Marsudi said Indonesia was “determined to accelerate negotiations on a free trade area between Indonesia and the Eurasian Economic Union.”
The decision to start negotiations with Indonesia was taken by the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in May 2022. The first and second rounds took place in April and July, and the third round took place in December 2023.
