Szymon Hołownia will not allow MPs Mariusz Kamiński and Wąsik to enter the Sejm. According to him, they are not members of parliament and the Marshal’s Guard “knows that they are not allowed to be in the meeting room.” Both will also not have the right to obtain a single pass for the Sejm for two days, which Hołownia will request from the House Presidium. The National Electoral Commission seems to have a different opinion and has asked Hołownia to provide justification for the appointment of Kamiński and Wąsik’s successors.
Marshal Hołownia stated that Mariusz Kamiński and Maciej Wąsik are not members of parliament, although the Chamber of Extraordinary Scrutiny of the Supreme Court made a different decision on this issue.
Mr Mariusz Kamiński and Mr Maciej Wąsik are not members of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland. This does not arise from the decision of the Marshal, nor from the decision of this or that chamber of the Supreme Court, but directly from the judgment in the criminal case pronounced by the District Court in Warsaw on December 20 last year. – I hope I am not alone – that there cannot be equal and even more equal rights before the law in Poland
– said Hołownia.

Hołownia digs in
Not only will Hołownia not allow both PiS MPs to enter the Sejm. He wants them not to be able to use one-day tickets during the two-day meeting.
He will recommend to the presidency not to issue day tickets to the gentlemen tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. So for these two days i.e. Thursday and Friday
– he said at the conference.
Explaining his decision, Hołownia stated that he had heard about plans to forcibly introduce MPs Kamiński and Wąsik to the Sejm “in a group”.
That an attempt will be made to storm the door with shit, that they will be forcibly placed in the room. I have to take such signals seriously
– said Hołownia, adding that he should take such signals seriously.
He also revealed that the Marshal Guard is sufficiently disciplined and knows that MPs Kamiński and Wąsik are not allowed to be present in the plenary hall.
It is understandable that the Marshal’s Guard knows they are not allowed to be in the meeting room, and I assume they will not be in this meeting room
– he said.
At the same time, he advised parliamentarians to apply for an identity card of a former parliamentarian.
As former parliamentarians, they have the right – I encourage them to take advantage of it – to obtain an identity card for former parliamentarians and senators that allows them to enter the buildings of the Sejm and the parliament without having to visit the passport office.
– Hołownia noted. What happens if the MPs are still present in the meeting room?
If it were to happen that Messrs. Wąsik and Kamiński somehow infiltrated the Sejm session hall, we would wonder
– said Marshal Hołownia, who advised PiS MPs to “come to terms with the court’s rulings and their consequences.”
When asked about the possible behavior of the Marshal Guard towards Wąsik and Kamiński, Hołownia emphasized that “the Marshal Guard can, in a non-confrontational manner, stop a person who enters a place to which he should not have access.”
The Marshal’s Guard will not defeat anyone, nor run after anyone. The Marshal’s Guard are serious, responsible people who care about our safety. They have a clear job, clearly defined missions and they know what to do, I’m not going to teach them that. I assure you that no one will argue with anyone here, we will not let that happen
– said Hołownia.
