Recently, information appeared in the media that KO MP Maciej Lasek would become the plenipotentiary for the CPK in Donald Tusk’s government. State Secretary of the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy, Marcin Horała, pointed out that the project is actually nearing completion, but if the people of Tusk take it up, “it could be comparable to the construction of an anti-missile shield.” “Government [PO-PSL – aja] he was supposedly in favor, but he multiplied the difficulties so much that the Americans withdrew,” he said in an interview with Radio One. Horała.
Reports on CPK and Maciej Lasek
““A sick idea” – this is how PO leader Donald Tusk said about the build-up of the CPK, which now aims to return to the position of Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland after almost ten years. In the government of Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, the representative is Minister of Foreign Affairs at MFiPR, Marcin Horała. If Donald Tusk and the coalition of KO, Third Way and Left take power, this position will – according to media reports – be assigned to KO MP, Dr. Maciej Lasek. Filip Lamański, editor-in-chief of “Economic Observer”, informed about this on the X platform. “The project must be terminated for political reasons,” he wrote.
Lamański noted that the information was not official and that he was trying to obtain its confirmation or denial.
These reports were confirmed by Tygodnik Solidarność, who referred to “information from people close to the future government”. Lasek’s job would be to close the project in such a way that it would not be possible to return to it.
“He has a history of acting that is not in the interests of Poland.”
Marcin Horała, who served in the previous and current government of Mateusz Morawiecki, commented on media reports about the position of the CPK plenipotentiary for Maciej Lasek.
As far as the airport is concerned, all administrative work related to the CPK airport is almost complete. What remains is the location decision and the building permit
– he noted in an interview with Radio One.
Railway investments have also started, namely the construction of a high-speed rail tunnel under Łódź, as well as the railway junction itself, the Warsaw-Łódź station.
– he pointed.
Is it true that when Donald Tusk takes power, Horała will be replaced by Lasek? The Undersecretary of the Ministry of FiPR noted that the potential successor “did not contact him” on this issue.
Lasek is absolutely against the CPK, and moreover he has a history of activities that are not in the interests of Poland – he gave credence to the Anodina report and the whole operation surrounding the Smolensk disaster, and to those from outside the eastern border who want to do that. would harm Poland’s interests and would like the CPK not to be established
– said Marcin Horała.
What about the anti-missile shield?
Will the opposition continue the project?
the optimistic variant is that the opposition has spoken a lot in the campaign against the CPK and must now withdraw from it somehow, while the pessimistic variant is that the CPK must come to an end
– said the PiS politician.
At the same time, he pointed out that “the majority of Poles support the construction of the CPK”, so that the new parliamentary majority, if it takes power, will not be easy to withdraw from the project overnight .
It could be similar to the construction of the anti-missile shield under Tusk – the government [wówczas PO-PSL] he was supposedly in favor, but he caused so many problems that the Americans themselves withdrew
– emphasized Horała.
