About 35 percent of German citizens are ready to vote for parties that are part of Germany’s ruling Traffic Light coalition (Social Democratic Party, Greens and Free Democratic Party), according to INSA’s survey for the newspaper Picture.
According to the research, 16 percent of those surveyed are ready to vote for the Social Democratic Party and 13 percent for the Greens. In case of an election, 6 percent of those surveyed will vote for the Free Democratic Party. According to statistical data, the parties’ overall popularity rate is lower than in the last Bundestag elections in 2021.
As can be seen from the research, the most popular political party in Germany continues to be the opposition bloc consisting of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) and the Christian Social Union (CSU), supported by 30 percent of those surveyed. Next comes Alternative for Germany with 21% of the votes.
