Prof. Zdzisław Krasnodębski, PiS Member of the European Parliament, was asked on RMF FM about the reasons for PiS’s election defeat. The MEP pointed out, among other things, to “mistakes in management” and inappropriate language by PiS.
I believe that these other factors, such as the conflict with the EU and the Constitutional Court ruling, were of course important, but in my view they were partly due to our mistakes in the way we managed it, plus the language used by the Poland had had enough
– he said Prof. Zdzislaw Krasnodębski, asked about the reasons for PiS’s defeat. He then presented details of the said mismanagement.
With a very small parliamentary majority at the end of the last term, several compromises had to be made. People appeared in the public sphere who should not have appeared there
– he said.
Tell me this, without naming a name, that you should not cling to Łukasz Mejza’s voice as a last resort and reward him later…
– the interviewer intervened ed. Robert Mazurek.
You mention the name, it’s somewhat symbolic. This is what I agree with
– replied Prof. Krasnodębski.
Why did PiS reward him with a place on the list?
– asked editor Mazurek.
Of course I was not the one who drew up the electoral lists, but I think that, as in many other cases, pragmatic considerations were decisive. In politics you have to get the right number of votes, and the voters voted for this particular man
– said Prof. Krasnodębski.
