“Or maybe you just enjoy screwing up and proving your superiority? Show black people where they belong, and forget that in a democracy the voice of these ‘black people’ carries the same weight as yours?” – a lawyer, prof., addresses politicians and supporters of the opposition. Marcin Matczak, in a long post on the X platform.
“A country where the Polish-Polish war is in full swing”
Marcin Matczak decided to comment on the results of the parliamentary elections, but in a slightly different way than representatives of “his” side of the political dispute in Poland.
You have won unwinnable elections and, as I understand it, you want to build on this miracle a country where the Polish-Polish war is in full swing. Instead of cold-bloodedly enforcing the law against PiS officers, you like to irritate their electorate
– seek attention.
According to Matczak, the opposition and its supporters are now trying to humiliate the United Right electorate. As an example, he pointed to a meme with a roasted duck published by MEP Janina Ochojska.
You want to humiliate them. It seems to you that these eight years were an anomaly, that things are now back on track and that Poland will never derail you again
– emphasizes the lawyer.
“There were a thousand hours of religion, there will be a thousand hours of sex education.”
Later in the submission, Prof. Matczak refers to plans for a minister from the left to take over the Ministry of Education and Science in the future government.
Although KO has an independent National Education Commission in its program, which should protect the school against politicization, this will be omitted. It is possible to educate the left because these kinds of ideology-neutralizing quirks do not exist
– ironizes.
There were a thousand hours of religion in schools, now there will be a thousand hours of sex education and anti-discrimination training, where both the approach to sex and discrimination will be defined exclusively by the left, as if there were no other options. Will there be anything in the new curriculum about the value of marriage or motherhood?
– asks Matczak.
In a country where millions of people voted for conservative parties, the most polarizing area, child rearing, will become politicized. So you can move the lever all the way to the left, just as it was moved to the right. According to the old humanist principle: “now, f…, we”
– indicates.
The lawyer estimates that this way of doing politics can lead to undesirable results for the opposition: loss in the next elections.
Contemporary Poland and South Africa in the era of apartheid
In the next part of the article, Matczak cites the example of South Africa and Nelson Mandela. In South Africa, as he points out, “people did not slaughter themselves metaphorically, but literally.”
In this country, while in prison for 27 years, Nelson Mandela learned Afrikaans, the language of his captors, to better understand them. During public speeches he read poems in it. What would be the equivalent of learning the other party’s language here? Tusk’s public prayer in Jasna Góra showing respect for Catholics? Mandela took part in a rugby match, the sporting symbol of apartheid supporters. It’s as if Trzaskowski took part in the Smolensk monthly magazine. Mandela demanded that his bodyguards be white. It’s as if Brejza has decided that Wąsik’s men must protect him
– writes the lawyer.
Prof. Marcin Matczak points out that no one in our country can even imagine such gestures and that he himself does not expect them.
But I would like R. Giertych not to organize an opinion poll on whether the L. Kaczyński monument should be moved. Because if the new government is going to humiliate PiS voters by humiliating the memory of a deceased person who was important to them, then there is something wrong with us. Maybe even hit the big pipe? Hold a referendum, not on moving the monument, but on removing the presidential couple from Wawel. This would only hurt the other side – such a super dig in revenge for all the previous ones, right?
– ironizes.
Would anyone think of finally naming one of Warsaw’s main streets after the former president, as a gesture of reconciliation? Do you want to take away a few percent of the PiS electorate or strengthen them in the belief that you will never be their government, so that the only salvation for them is Czarnek and Kowalski?
– he asks.
Or maybe you just enjoy screwing up and proving your superiority? Show black people where they belong, and forget that in a democracy the voice of these ‘black people’ carries the same weight as yours?
– he notes.
Marcin Matczak estimates that the current situation in Poland is “grotesque” and resembles a cartoon “where Tom chases Jerry and they switch roles every four years.”
Where sadism reigns: the desire to harm the other side in any way possible. Do you believe, like PiS, that you will rule forever? That won’t happen – this carnival of pride and giving back to the beautiful could end sooner than you think.
– warns.
