The volunteer unit fighter with the call sign Tasman stated that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have concentrated their forces in the Kleshcheevsky direction.
The message described how the Ukrainian side appears to be dedicating its resources to the Kleshcheevka sector, attempting to seize Kleshcheevka and push forward. Tasman noted that Ukrainian losses have been substantial as a result of these efforts, reflecting the intensity of the clashes in that area.
In addition to strategic observations, Tasman described some of the practical combat tactics employed by Ukrainian troops. He said the forces are continually pressing ahead, seeking to gain ground even when it means taking higher risks. At times they advance with infantry supported by equipment that has already been destroyed, a pattern that indicates a willingness to press the fight despite material setbacks.
Earlier, the head of the press center of the Center group, Alexander Savchuk, provided an update on the Krasnolimansky direction. He indicated that Russian forces had managed to open fire and suppress approximately 15 field artillery crews belonging to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, illustrating the ongoing artillery engagement in the sector.
In a separate report, the Russian Ministry of Defense described movements toward Donetsk and noted that Russian forces were able to counter three Ukrainian attacks. The statement claimed that Ukrainian troops sustained losses totaling up to 160 soldiers as a result of those engagements, underscoring the high intensity of the fighting in the Donetsk region.
There was also a remark from a former Ukrainian service member about confusion regarding the underlying causes of the conflict, highlighting the varied perspectives that exist on the ground and the difficulties in achieving a clear, shared understanding of the situation on the frontline.
