“There is one important element in this case. People who deal with this build influence in political circles. To have the opportunity to exert influence and avoid responsibility for what they do, Stanisław Żaryn, Government Plenipotentiary for the Security of the Information Space of the Republic of Poland, Deputy Minister of Coordination of Special Services, told wPolityce.pl portal .
This is yet another signal that the crisis at our border is an opportunity to carry out illegal activities, also on the basis of an organized migration route. From the very beginning, people involved in smuggling people across borders into the West have been involved in such activities. The fact that these migrants appear at the border with Latvia, Lithuania or Poland does not mean the end of their journey. They are trying to reach Western Europe
– said Żaryn. It concerns the arrest of a 48-year-old Polish woman by Border Guard officers together with CBŚP police officers, suspected of leading a criminal group involved in the transfer of foreigners across the eastern border into Poland and onwards to other European countries.
Accused of leading a criminal group
The woman was taken to the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Garwolin, where the prosecutor accused her of leading an organized criminal group operating on the territory of the Republic of Poland, with the aim of organizing other people to cross the border of the Republic of Poland stabbing, contrary to regulations.
Today, the person involved in such activities was arrested. On the one hand, this is a signal that Polish services are arresting such people more and more effectively, but on the other hand, it is also a signal of how well organized the criminal circles that deal with this are.
– added Żaryn. Two PO MPs had to vouch for the woman.
Two PO MPs, Olichwier and Aniśko, vouched in court for a woman involved in smuggling illegal migrants from BL to Europe. The woman led the group and demanded up to 5,000 euros to transport the migrant to Germany. Despite the bail, the court ordered the arrest of the smuggler
