Deputy Ministers Maciej Wąsik and Sebastian Kaleta spoke about the detention of activist Ewa M. The politicians provided details about the case. They confirmed, among other things: information about the support for this from PO politicians.
Today I wanted to talk about a case that can’t be called anything other than the “Civic Platform Bootlegging Scandal.” On September 7, the Central Bureau of Investigation and the Border Guard arrested a 48-year-old woman, Ewa MS. They held her in Tarnowskie Góry so that prosecutors could accuse her of leading a criminal group that smuggled people across the border. with Belarus. Earlier, five more people were arrested in the case: two Indians, two Pakistani nationals and one Tajik. Four of these five people are in custody. The Public Prosecution charged these people and Ewa MS, the leader of the group, with 5,000 euros for each person who smuggled them to Western Europe. If the route was longer, further west or to Britain, they demanded up to 10,000 euros from people
– said Maciej Wąsik, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration.
This would be one of the many issues that could be ignored as our services in this area work quite effectively as we stop many smugglers and couriers. Were it not for the fact that when the prosecutor’s office filed a request for arrest, when it was ordered, a bond of public figures was presented to the court. The guarantor regarding Ms. Ewa MS and two PO MPs – Tomasz Olichwer and Tomasz Aniśko – vouched for this person. One of them is a member of parliament from Zabrze, the other is a member of parliament from the Lubusz region. Other public and well-known people have also provided guarantees: former deputy ombudsman Ms Hanna Machińska, deputy director of the Powszechny Theater in Warsaw Mr Tomasz Sztarbowski, and director of the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw Joanna Mytkowska. I wanted to emphasize that Mrs. Ewa M. headed the group that carried out the smuggling. This practice lasted at least 1.5 years and she also carried out other types of activities. For example, collections on refugee portals. In this way she deceived people and asked them to make a de facto sacrifice for criminal activities
– added.
“PO smuggling scandals”
Deputy Justice Minister Sebastian Kaleta then spoke.
We are dealing with a huge Citizen Platform smuggling scandal. For several months we have been hearing false information from prominent politicians and intellectuals supporting PO about what is happening on the Polish-Belarusian border. Influential creators, politicians and activists, spitting on the Polish uniform, say that we should let people in, and then it will work, that we should not put up a barrier, because that is what they voted for in the Polish Sejm. It turns out that an activist of these movements is suspected and arrested by the court for organizing a criminal group that organized the paid smuggling of illegal migrants. She is a well-known activist in opposition circles, so it is not difficult to find information about her public activities. What do you think? What did Mrs Ewa MS encourage her friends and other Poles to do in the upcoming referendum? She wrote on social media “4xTAK”, that is, among other things: to demolish the barrier on the Polish-Belarusian border, because then it would be easier to find migrants who would be willing to pay this money. But also “yes” to the forced relocation mechanism of migrants by the European Union to Poland. PO politicians have said in recent days that they agree with this mechanism. What is important. Public opinion is outraged by the story presented in the film “The Green Border”. Ironically, it can be said that in light of this case, the green border does not necessarily mean grass, forests, but money, and Mrs. Ewa M. was also a very active promoter of this film. (…) Who else supported Mrs M.? Ms Ochojska, who defamed Polish uniformed officers in the European Parliament. (…) She supported Tusk’s story about what is happening on the Polish-Belarusian border. It turns out that according to the Public Prosecution Service and with a high probability, determined by the court, she was involved in organizing paid smuggling of illegal migrants
– said Kaleta.
