Law and Justice is the only party that keeps its election declarations, PiS member and former Prime Minister Beata Szydło said in an interview with PAP.PL on Saturday.
On Saturday, Law and Justice in Końskie (Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship) presented “eight specific points”, including the introduction of seniority pensions – 38 years for women and 43 years for men, a program for the modernization and revitalization of apartment buildings “Friendly Housing Estate”, “Free Highways”, the “Local Shelf” program – which presupposes the obligation to offer at least 2/3 of fruits, vegetables, dairy products, meat and bread from local suppliers in supermarkets, the “School Voucher – get to know Poland” travel financing program for students. PiS also announced a program to improve the nutrition of patients in hospitals “Good Meal”, a program with free medicines for seniors 65+ and children up to 18 years and the 800+ program.
Beata Szydło pointed out in an interview with PAP.PL on Saturday that PiS is the only party that honors its election declarations.
If we look at the election manifestos that we presented in 2015 or 2019, for example, most of the requirements contained therein have been implemented. Some we are going further, some have already started. In the coming years we will continue to implement what the Poles expect
– Szydło stated.
During the convention, MP Paweł Kukiz also spoke about program proposals, stating that he fled from the PiS list because it was the only party that had included its election demands in its program: the introduction of justices of the peace, changes in the electoral law, referendum day at local governments, abolition of immunities, parliamentarians and senators.
When asked about the coalition with Kukiz, Beata Szydło pointed out that the United Right is open to different circles.
We are a broad political camp, we have coalition partners who have been with us for a long time. Today Paweł Kukiz joined us. We want to expand our environment. We keep our word. Today Paweł Kukiz said that Jarosław Kaczyński is a politician who keeps his words and does not disappoint. He trusted us and I think it is very good that Law and Justice, United Right today covers an even wider range
– she assessed.
Szydło about Tusk’s actions
Beata Szydło also commented on the X website (formerly: Twitter) on the words spoken by Donald Tusk at the Civic Coalition convention.
You can laugh at Donald Tusk, who today declared Rafał Trzaskowski president of Poland, but this statement is dangerous for Polish democracy. Tusk openly questions the 2020 presidential election
– wrote the former Prime Minister.
This is probably just a prelude to an attack on the outcome of the parliamentary elections, if it is different from what Tusk wants
– she added.
