The Prime Minister of Armenia stated that the Russian Federation distanced itself from him due to its actions or inaction in the South Caucasus. This has been reported Interfax.

He added that the Lachin corridor connecting Armenia to Nagorno-Karabakh should be under the control of Russian peacekeepers, but not under their control.

“There could be two reasons; either Russia cannot control the Lachin corridor or does not want it. Both reasons are problematic,” Pashinyan said.
