According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a representative of the German embassy was invited to the ministry in connection with the attack on a Pole in Munich. “We learned that the chargé d’affaires of the German embassy in Poland, i.e. the top official of the embassy, was not aware of this event,” Zbigniew Rau, the head of the foreign ministry, told TVP Info.

Pole raped in Munich
On Tuesday, German media reported that a young Pole had been raped in a Munich subway station. The suspected perpetrator, who is in police custody, is a 20-year-old man from Afghanistan. The Ministry of Diplomacy announced on Wednesday that a representative from the German embassy in Warsaw had been invited to the Polish Foreign Ministry in connection with the brutal attack on a Polish national.
We have been informed that the chargé d’affaires of the German embassy in Poland, ie the highest official of the embassy, was not informed of this event (…). Which, to be fair, shows once again in a more than obvious way that we have very significant differences of opinion on these issues with Germany, and unfortunately on other matters as well
stressed the foreign minister on Wednesday.

Increase in crime in Germany
According to Minister Rau, the fact that this tragic event took place is due to the German, different from Polish, approach “to the issue of accepting illegal immigrants, especially from foreign cultures, who adhere to their own social practices that are different from ours.” This German approach, he said, leads to “an increase in crime and similar incidents.” He said that in Poland there is no permission to accept illegal migrants because “we are aware of the consequences of such actions” – he noted.
As he noted, the issue of illegal migration is virtually absent from German political discourse.
As a result, we can assume that the susceptibility to these types of incidents is also completely different and it is difficult to resist the impression that security measures against such events are not taken with a sense of care. And we talked about that with a German diplomat who was asked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
added the head of the ministry.
