Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky asked Greece to protect Ukraine’s grain corridor in the Black Sea. He announced this at a press conference with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis. Reuters.

It was previously reported that Türkiye opens Negotiations with the UN on the resumption of Ukrainian grain exports via the Black Sea.

Ankara is discussing various options with UN representatives to reinstate the grain agreement in force from August 1, 2022 to July 17, 2023. One of the options being considered is to hold talks between Russia and Ukraine in Istanbul.

According to Sabah, Turkey believes alternative export routes for Ukrainian grain are less safe and efficient. In addition, their use may increase tension in the region.
