The detention center in Białołęka – some might say that this is the second, informal seat of Platform O. The United Right is there to remind the truth – Deputy Minister of State Assets Jan Kanthak said at a press conference outside the detention center in Białołęka, where the deputy mayor of the Praga-Południe district, Adam C., resides. He was detained by the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau for irregularities in the transfer of land to developers.
Kanthak: Tusk thought there would be widespread amnesia
Jan Kanthak pointed out that “some might say we are under the stronghold of the Civic Platform or the second informal seat of the O platform.” Behind the politicians who took part in the press conference were packs of Civic Platform figures who have problems with the law.
PO is a party that didn’t come out of nowhere. Tusk thought that by changing the party’s name to Civic Coalition, general amnesia would reign in Poland. That Poles will think that Tusk is just like Stanisław Tymiński – a character from nowhere. Donald Tusk is a well-known figure, especially those who represent his political environment
said the politician.
These are people who repeatedly and often have problems with the law. That’s why we’re here. It is probably here that Tusk’s aces spend much of their time here. We have people here who are known from public life, because they are former ministers, former PO activists, but we want to focus mainly on Warsaw
Jan Kanthak continued.
The case of the deputy mayor on behalf of PO
The deputy head of MAP recalled the case of the deputy mayor of Praga Południe – Adam C., who was detained by the prosecutor’s office.
He is charged with accepting, providing a financial advantage, concealing business activities that created a conflict of interest. Unfortunately, we are used to the Neumann Doctrine functioning in the PO for quite some time. If you’re in PO, we’ll defend you as Independence
noted the politician.
Today we are talking about figures like Adam C., but we are also talking about other people who come from the PO and who are active in the Warsaw market. Recently there was also a high-profile detention of the former finance minister in Tusk’s government, Karpiński. He would accept a substantial bribe of around PLN 5 million
– added.

Falsehood of reality
Jan Kanthak pointed out that Law and Justice found money that Donald Tusk said was buried somewhere.
We are here to twist reality. In the PO they want amnesia to rule in Poland. Now they are trying to attack us and the boards of state-owned companies for supposedly high revenues. In their time, people earned much less, and CEOs could earn up to 20 million zlotys
Jan Kanthak remembered.
Let us remind you that on July 11, the agents of the regional office of the CBA in Warsaw detained Adam C., the deputy mayor of Praga-Południe, and Jacek G., the head of the architecture and construction department of the Praga-Południe district office. Two entrepreneurs were also arrested. Those arrested were charged with active and passive corruption, false declaration of assets, abuse of power by a public official and issuing and using unreliable invoices.
The deputy mayor is detained for two months and one entrepreneur for a month.
With regard to the head of the architecture and construction department of the Praga-Południe district office, the prosecutor requested police supervision and property assurance, and in the case of the second entrepreneur, supervision.
The deputy mayor – as the investigators have determined – managed a development company, formally registered in his father’s name, and profited from its activities. He hid this fact in his estate declaration. As part of his business activities, he accepted and registered in the company’s books and used in the declarations a false invoice in the amount of PLN 492,000. zloty. In addition, he, together with another developer, as the head of the architecture and construction department of the Praga Południe district office, employed a Rembertów district official, Jan G., in exchange for issuing a building permit and approving the construction project without informing the parties to the proceedings of these decisions.
