Ukraine’s Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov said the grain agreement has been extended for 120 days. He announced this on his social networks.
“The agreement on the grain initiative has been extended for another 120 days. I am grateful to all partner countries, as well as United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, for their joint efforts to extend the document for another 4 months.”
He noted that Kiev continues to export agricultural products through its three deep-sea ports.

The grain deal ended on March 19. On the eve of the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that Moscow has extended the agreement by 60 days. Prior to that, the agreement had been extended for 120 days.
The agreement, signed on July 22, 2022 by representatives of Russia, Turkey, Ukraine and the UN, includes the export of Ukraine’s grain, food and fertilizer from three ports controlled by Kiev via the Black Sea.
