Metallica took the stage at the local football stadium. During the performance of Inter Sandman, 60,000 visitors of the concert began to jump actively, causing an earthquake.
This was confirmed by the seismological observatory Virginia Tech (VTSO) – the summit of underground shocks coincided with the execution of Enter Sandman.
VTSO director Martin Chepman added that the shocks recorded a seismography that is about one and a half kilometers from the stadium.
