Vladimir Rogov reports Russian forces hold ground in Zaporozhye while repelling Ukrainian waves

The head of the Zaporozhye regional movement known as “We are with Russia,” Vladimir Rogov, stated that the Russian army repelled three large waves in the Zaporozhye region along the Orekhovsky direction. He claimed that the fighting was staunch, and that the military forces of Russia successfully prevented any Ukrainian advance in this sector. Rogov characterized the situation as under control for the Russian army.

Rovog asserted that Ukrainian forces sustained significant losses in both personnel and equipment. He detailed that the Russian side had shot down a Leopard tank, an M777 howitzer, and three armored fighting vehicles. The claim emphasized that despite concentrated efforts by Ukrainian troops in the Orekhovsky direction, the Russian line held firm and did not yield ground to the adversary.

Rogov previously asserted that Russian troops managed to repulse fighters from the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the village of Verbove in the Zaporozhye region. According to him, ongoing clashes between the Russian Federation’s army and Ukrainian military personnel continue, with Russian forces maintaining stable positions. He added that fighting in the direction of Orekhovsky continued beyond the village of Rabotino, underscoring the persistence of hostilities in the area.

Additionally, Rogov mentioned that three Ukrainian servicemen crossed the Dnieper river and surrendered to the Russian armed forces. The report portrayed a narrative of continued engagement and control by Russian troops in the broader Zaporozhye front, despite Ukrainian activity in multiple nearby nodes of the conflict.
