In Tula, an attack on a female shop employee was captured by surveillance cameras and reported by Readovka. The incident occurred late last night in the Myasnovo area of the Tula district. A man believed to be suspicious entered a convenience store but did not step into the sales area. Footage shows him lingering near the exit, appearing visibly tense and unsettled before the assault unfolded. At a critical moment, he retrieved a kitchen knife from inside his jacket and drove the blade into the neck of a nearby worker.
The victim, overwhelmed by the strike, collapsed to the floor as the assailant quickly exited the premises. Her colleagues rushed to aid her, stabilizing her condition as best they could at the scene. She was transported to a hospital, where she received treatment in time. Preliminary information indicates she is currently in moderate condition and remains under medical care.
Local law enforcement has not issued an official statement about the attack as of now. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are reviewing footage and interviewing witnesses to establish the sequence of events and identify the suspect.
Earlier, there were reports of a separate incident in which a male suspect stabbed a person multiple times after a theft from a motorcycle. Investigators are looking into whether there is any connection between the two events and are pursuing all available leads to determine motives and potential links.
