Valencian Economists See Better Local Prospects Than National Outlook

Valencian economists recently shared the results of a quarterly survey conducted by a regional association that groups this profession. The findings show a higher level of confidence in the Valencian autonomy compared with Spain overall. Specifically, 51.7% of respondents describe the current Valencian economy as good. Those rating it as average or very good total 25.1%, while 20.4% view it as bad and 2.9% as very bad. The economists evaluated the economy at an average of 5.45 out of 10, surpassing the 5.03 average given to Spain’s economy as a whole. Among the participants, younger professionals and respondents from Alicante province tend to be more optimistic, whereas older economists and those from Castellón province are relatively more pessimistic.
