Reports from the Bryansk region indicate another bombardment incident near Kirillovka, attributed to Ukrainian forces. A Telegram channel connected to regional authorities relayed the claim, noting that the shelling impacted the village in the Klimovsky district.
According to the message, no civilian casualties were reported. Four residential structures sustained damage, and a portion of the electricity network experienced interruptions as a consequence of the attack. The update emphasized that emergency crews and rapid response teams were mobilized to the scene to assess damage and help residents recover from the disruption.
In a separate update, regional leadership confirmed that emergency services are actively coordinating at the location to secure the area and provide assistance to affected households. The emphasis remained on safeguarding residents and restoring essential services as quickly as possible.
Earlier on the same day, Bryansk regional authorities disclosed that Ukrainian armed forces opened fire on the village of Belaya Berezka. Officials stated that there were no reported deaths or injuries as a result of that attack, though property damage and disruption to infrastructure were noted.
On the morning of the incident, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that Russian air defense units intercepted three unmanned aerial vehicles over the Kaluga and Bryansk regions. The ministry described the interceptions as successful and highlighted ongoing vigilance to counter air threats in border areas.
Earlier reports also indicated damage to a religious site in the Zernovo district following an attack by Ukrainian forces. The strike affected a church building, with fragments piercing the glass and portions of the facade sustaining impact damage as crews documented the scene and began repairs. The event was recorded in official updates and subsequent security assessments.
Additionally, observers noted that Russia has been developing new drone suppression capabilities intended to strengthen defences against remote aerial threats and to support regional security operations in response to continued hostilities.
