After painstaking detective work, authorities were able to determine the identity of the individual behind the events. The suspect is a 22-year-old resident of Torrevieja with a prior police record related to property crimes.

The suspect was eventually apprehended in the urban area on May 27. In addition to the three vending machine robberies, law enforcement linked him to a forced robbery at a residential home within the same municipality.

During the course of the robberies, the offender managed to steal a total of 110 euros along with two pairs of used sneakers. The preliminary assessment of the material damage to the vending machines was estimated at approximately 7,500 euros.
